Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope this letter finds you well. We are excited to share some news about an upcoming initiative at our elementary schools that we believe will have a positive impact on our students' literacy development.

Beginning this academic term, we will be piloting a new and innovative literacy curriculum for grades TK-6. The curriculum, provided by Amplify, is designed to enhance the language arts skills of our students and promote a love for reading and writing.

To learn more about the Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts program, we invite you to visit their website at CKLA Caregiver's Site. This resource provides detailed information about the curriculum, its components, and the educational philosophy behind it.

We understand that you may have questions or require further clarification about the new literacy curriculum. In this regard, we encourage you to reach out to your building principal, who will be more than happy to address any inquiries you may have.

We value your involvement in your child's education, and we believe that this new literacy curriculum will contribute significantly to their academic growth and overall learning experience. Your feedback and support are crucial as we embark on this exciting pilot program. Once the pilot is complete, parents will be able to preview and give feedback on any curriculum prior to an adoption.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education, and we look forward to working together to create a nurturing and enriching learning environment.

Sincerely,

Troy Whittle
Assistant Superintendent
